Jack Warner and Brandon Landry, founders of Walk-On’s and Last In Concepts, met in 1997 as walk-ons for the LSU Tiger’s basketball team. As walk-ons, they played proudly for LSU, team comradery and the true love of the game. Jack and Brandon both had amazing opportunities to travel and visit cities across the SEC and around the world and in the course of their travel, they started to visit the best of the best of restaurants and bars. As they were living one dream of playing for LSU they were also beginning to create a new dream – Walk-On’s Bistreaux and Bar.

In fact, in 2000, on a plane ride home from a game at the University of Tennessee, the floor plan for Walk-On’s Bistreaux and Bar became a reality on a napkin. Throughout their years on the bench, Jack and Brandon learned that being a walk-on was a privilege and that even though they didn’t play much they were just as important to the team as the start player. Legendary Coach Dale Brown taught them that everyone on a TEAM has one common goal: To Win! Jack and Brandon have taken all those lessons from the hardwood
floors and brought them to life on the floors of their restaurants and bars. Today
