
Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux Bringing the Matchday Atmosphere to Soccer Fans this Summer with Catch the Cup Campaign & Match Viewing Parties
ESPN’s #1 Sports Bar in America introduces new bowls, specialty cocktails, loyalty rewards and soccer viewing experiences across the country, plus free doughnut bread pudding during second-half stoppage time of the final match
Beginning today, as part of its Catch the Cup campaign, Walk-On’s is launching two limited-time bowls to join its wildly popular Mango Tuna Bowl, as well as an all-new Melon Ball Margarita featuring Casamigos Blanco, Midori Melon Liqueur, pineapple juice, fresh lime and agave nectar, served in a commemorative cup while supplies last. The Southwest Chicken Bowl will feature blackened chicken, rice, spicy ranch, avocado, pickled red onion, corn and black bean salsa, while the Sweet Chili Shrimp Bowl features blackened shrimp, rice, mango salsa, avocado, cucumber, cabbage, lime and a sweet chili glaze.
“Walk-On’s has always been about bringing people together through great food and unforgettable gameday experiences,” said Brandon Landry, founder and CEO of Walk-On’s. “This summer’s global soccer excitement gives fans another reason to gather with friends, cheer on their teams and catch every moment surrounded by the energy that only Walk-On’s can deliver.”In addition to special menu offerings, Walk-On’s has partnered with Anheuser-Busch and Casamigos to host special Team USA viewing parties in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans and Tampa, inviting fans to come cheer on the Stars & Stripes during key matchups against Paraguay on June 12 and Australia on June 19. Select events will feature themed activations, giveaways and an atmosphere designed to bring fans together for every moment of the action. Fans in these markets are encouraged to check their local restaurants’ Facebook pages for additional details and updates surrounding viewing parties.
To keep the excitement going until the world champions are crowned, Walk-On’s will also be offering free doughnut bread pudding to guests during the second-half stoppage time of the final match of the tournament on July 19. The doughnut bread pudding is a fan favorite and a staple of the dessert offerings, made with real Krispy Kreme® doughnuts.
Walk-On’s will also be hosting a limited-time loyalty challenge as part of the Catch the Cup campaign, running from June 22 through August 2. Loyalty members who opt-in, complete three separate visits and purchase three bowl entrées will receive a free starter reward, while the first 200 eligible participants will also receive an exclusive Walk-On’s hat available only during the promotion.
